New Women's Circle in Tiverton, Devon - Come and Join Us!
There is a growing trend of women's circles popping up all over the world. What are they, and what do they offer? Women's circles provide a safe space for women to come together and connect with each other. They offer a variety of advantages, including but not limited to: connection, self-care, healing, growth, and empowerment.
Women's circles provide an opportunity for women to connect with each other on a deeper level. In today's society, it is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life and forget to take time for ourselves. Women's circles offer a chance to slow down, connect with other women, and nurture our relationships.
Naomi and myself used to attend a women's circle in Tiverton, Devon before lockdown, we really missed it and so thought it would be a good idea to draw on our experiences and set up our own circle. We both live with chronic illness which is why we advertise that the group offers a supportive ear to any women living with chronic illness, but it is of course open to all women.
We feel it is important for women to come together in this way to support each other, to feel less alone and more connected. Women have been gathering in circles since the beginning of time and it is time we bring this tradition back. Will you join us?
The group starts on 11th May 2022 at the Old Heathcoat School Community Centre, in the Britton Room running from 6-8pm and costs £5. There will be tea and cake! We offer a friendly welcome and are creating a space where women can be themselves without judgement.
If you are interested in joining us you can message us for more information on our Facebook page, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or just come along and we'll see you there!
